Advanced Nitrox

Why take this course?

This course teaches divers the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Enriched Air/Nitrox mixtures from 21% to 100% for dives not requiring decompression to a maximum depth of 150 feet.

What do I need to start?

  • Must be at least Open Water certified or higher and basic EANx/Nitrox certified.
  • Proof of 25 logged open water dives.
  • Minimum age 15.

Where can I go from here?

Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures certification is the introduction to further technical diving training. Extended Range Diver, Trimix Diver and Advanced Wreck diving courses are just some of the options available to further your technical diving training.

Course Schedule

Two nights class & pool and four open water dives.

Required equipment

At least two Enriched Air Nitrox compatible first stage and single second stage regulators with submersible pressure gauges, one with 6-7 ft. hose, depth gauge and automatic bottom timer or dive computer , BCD with power inflator suitable for double cylinders, adequate exposure protection, TDI Advanced Nitrox text. Transportation, lodging, meals not included.
